Three months ago today,
five kittens were born...
and then there were four.
These four, all boys, are getting big.
Pasha, who looks just like me, is nearly my size.
He likes to wrestle with me.
I can still take him...
but I don't know for how much longer.
He has a distinct voice.
And he purrs the moment the editor touches him.
Rumi looks like his dad.
He's big... and loud.
He eats and eats and eats.
He also purrs as soon as the editor touches him.
Echo, another who resembles his dad, is mischievous.
He plays while the rest of us eat.
Then he marches up and demands the editor's food.
And she gives it him, of course...
which makes the dogs give her dirty looks.
Hazel is mini-me.
He looks like me... just smaller... much smaller.
The editor is in love with him.
She calls him a toy —
the best toy she's ever had.
He's spoiled, and he knows it, too.
In case you're new here...
I'm Pishi:
feline philosopher,
author,
mother,
sister,
and daughter, of course.
