Four months ago today, I had surgery, and the vet said I couldn't nurse my four boys anymore. I've been proving her wrong every day for four months. The editor says it's ridiculous that I'm still nursing "grown men" this way... but I think sometimes she just forgets I make the rules.

My fur feels like it’s roasting, my paws are too sticky to even tiptoe, and don’t get me started on the sun glaring at me like it owns the world. I demand AC, frozen treats, and a dignified nap in the shadiest corner available. Summer, consider this a formal notice: I am not impressed.
