Meow Meow

The Vikings got one thing right: They gave kittens to new brides... a symbol of fertility, luck, and domestic purr-fection — naturally. We were sacred to Freyja, goddess of love and home life. Clearly, she had excellent taste.

Meow

My kittens turned four months old today.

Four. Months. Old.

Can you believe it?

I have four healthy, handsome boys who zoom around like tiny panthers with something to prove.

They wrestle, they pounce, they climb walls like gravity is just a rumor.

The editor says she feels four years older.

Honestly, she should.

Her job was to keep up with royalty-in-training.

She's done... adequately.

As for me? I'm thriving, obviously.

Motherhood looks magnificent on me.

Stay tuned for more updates from the royal nursery.

Meow Meow

Formula Free by Pishi Pishi Miao Miao Pooch...and her editor, grudgingly... could have been titled A Rule-Breaker’s Guide to Writing. Who says writers have to follow the rules? Certainly not Pishi Pooch — a feline with flair, nine lives of storytelling wisdom, and a talent for knocking over expectations... and coffee cups.

This delightfully defiant guide to writing is part mischief, part manifesto. With lessons from both Pishi and her editor, writers are invited to challenge conventions, pounce on possibilities, and sharpen their claws on tired advice. From structure to subtext, grammar to genre, this map of mischief explores the craft of writing with curiosity, courage, and a dash of cattitude.

Inside, you’ll find:
playful and practical lessons on storytelling
two voices: Pishi's and the editor's
paw-sitive encouragement to write wildly and revise wisely
unexpected turns, tail swipes, and plenty of puns

Whether you're a first-time scribbler or seasoned wordsmith, this book invites you to break the rules — with purpose, with style, and with your voice intact... because sometimes the best stories come from scratching the page your own way.

My Manifesto

Dear Writer...

Whether you're feline or human...

If your first draft is tidy,
you're probably doing it wrong.

If it smells like glitter and chaos —
you're on the right track.

Rules?
Useful.
But not right now.

Typos?
Beautiful.

Weird metaphors about soup?
Keep them.

I, Pishi Pooch,
in my ninth-life,
living with...
and learning from...
an editor extraordinaire,
declare:

Mess is the compost of brilliance.
Confusion is a sign you’re digging deep.
If it feels wild, it’s probably honest.
Your only job in a messy draft?
Don’t stop.
Don’t shrink.
Don’t sanitize.
Editing comes later.
First, spill the magic.
